Restaurants

Rice & Miso is a project where we were tasked with creating a truly lovely Japanese restaurant. All elements for the restaurant were meticulously prepared and installed in just two days to facilitate a quick opening. The design thoughtfully incorporates strong influences from traditional Japanese aesthetics, enhancing the dining experience for patrons.

Pop up and events

Design and build for events and pop-up stores involves a comprehensive process that encompasses a variety of stages. From the initial concept to the final fabrication, we have collaborated on numerous projects where we were tasked with creating a mock-up for a MOMA installation. For another client, we partnered with a team to innovate branding concepts for events such as South by Southwest, as well as an in-store installation at Uniqlo.

Private apartment

Designing the interior of a private apartment in New York City presented a unique opportunity to create a space that merges functionality with style. For this client, we designed and built a large custom piece of furniture that originally started as a bench situated under four windows. As the project evolved, it transformed into a charming library, complete with a subtle separation from the adjacent open kitchen area. Crafted from white oak and accented with brass finishes, we aimed to maintain the materials' authenticity to ensure the environment feels warm and inviting, making it a true sanctuary amidst the bustling city.

Set design

Set design and fabrication serves as an innovative avenue for experimenting with new textures, creative setups, and diverse materials. Projects range from small detailed tabletop texture sets to the full build out of complete bathroom environments. We consistently strive to uphold environmentally friendly practices by reusing or repurposing our sets whenever possible, thereby minimizing waste and promoting sustainability in our craft.

Objects

We use our industrial design experience to create products from idea to prototype to final production. Here are examples of items made in quantities from one to several thousand. We apply craftsmanship to enhance the industrial process.
